About Pilbara Drones
Based in Karratha, servicing the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Kimberley, Pilbara Drones delivers practical drone solutions for some of Australia's toughest operating environments.
We are a CASA-certified remote operator (ReOC 8597) with a documented safety management system independently audited against the Basic Aviation Risk Standard. Our Chief Remote Pilot is qualified on medium category aircraft up to 150 kg.
In a region defined by distance, heat and difficult access, we focus on safe, efficient and measurable outcomes across industrial operations, land management and agriculture. We help clients reduce time on the ground, improve visibility across large areas, and make better decisions from clearer data.
Industrial and Asset Inspections
We provide visual and thermal inspections that support asset performance and maintenance planning.
Whether it's infrastructure, powerline corridors or solar assets, drone-based inspection detects issues early, reduces exposure to hazards, and delivers clear evidence for action.
Precision Agriculture and Land Management
Our agricultural drones support broadacre and horticultural operations with targeted application and repeatable monitoring. Precision spraying places product where it's needed most — reducing waste, minimising environmental impact and improving operator safety. With no heavy machinery running over paddocks, you avoid soil compaction and downtime waiting on ground conditions.
Training and Capability
We deliver CASA-compliant drone licence training to build safe, confident operators, backed by practical operational experience.
